Events

　“Grant-in-Aid for Transformative Research Areas (B)” organized by Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) aims to create research areas that will lead to radical transformation and change in the existing framework and / or direction of scientific research in Japan through more challenging and exploratory project.
　A research project of “Dimensional Response Genome”, in which project leader is Dr. Hisae Tateishi, Konan University, started from 2021. This project focuses on non-canonical structures of nucleic acids, which show different physicochemical properties in each biological species, and aims to clarify the similarities and differences in mechanisms of gene expression modulation based on the nucleic acid structures.( ※Details are here)
  The kick-off symposium of “Dimensional Response Genomics” will be held jointly with FIBER, Konan University, where the project members of the area and leading researchers in related research fields will present the latest results and prospects of this research field.
