　On Wednesday, November 20, 2024, “FIBER Future College 116” was held in Lecture Room 210 at Konan University’s Port Island Campus.

　This lecture series, featuring leading researchers in the field of nucleic acid chemistry, is considered a valuable opportunity for researchers in nucleic acid chemistry and molecular biology to directly learn about the latest findings.

　 Lecture title： Cancer Diagnostics and Therapy with DNA Aptamer Nanotechnology
Speaker : Prof. Maxim Berezovski （ Department of Chemistry and Biomolecular Sciences, University of Ottawa, Canada ）

　Professor Berezovski presented cutting-edge advancements in nucleic acid chemistry, focusing on technologies that utilize DNA not merely as genetic information, but as a high-performance sensor capable of finding specific targets.

　This lecture provided a valuable opportunity to deepen our understanding of the integration of DNA biotechnology and nanoengineering in the field of nucleic acid chemistry, and its content will greatly contribute to future research activities.

We invite leading researchers in the field of nucleic acid chemistry and hold “FIBER FUTURE COLLEGE” as public lectures.

We will have “FIBER Webinar Universe in FIBER Future College 116” as a public webinar lecture on 20th November 2024.

In the announced lecture,Professor Berezovski, University of Ottawa, Canada, will give a presentation. His research focuses on nucleic acids called aptamers that recognize specific molecules. He has developed various aptamer-based therapeutic technologies. We look forward to your participation from universities, research institutes, and companies.
